Job Ref. :uker716 Test Automation Engineer   Job Location: Manchester, Oldham, Stockport, Bury, Salford, York   Terms: Permanent only   Salary: Neg Job Details You need to have: Significant Test Engineering experience, both manual & automated. Programming knowledge in some of the following:C#, C++, COM/DCOM, Perl, Visual Basic, VBScript, Javascript, Shell/DOS scripting, test automation tools. Excellent communication skills. Plus experience in any of the following: Administration of: Windows Server 2000/3, Windows XP, Longhorn, UNIX (esp. Solaris, Linux, AIX, HP-UX). Testing tools such as QuickTest Pro etc. Test environments involving scalability, stress or load scenarios. Leading teams & projects for senior positions. Databases (SQL Server, Oracle). Security (SSL, TLS). You will need to be a team player that seeks to supplement their skills through the use of product and project related experience, self-study manuals, and on the job training. Some experience of team leading is desirable, or at least a desire to do so in the future. Qualifications required are preferably, a degree in Computer Science or an IT related course.
