The role would is very open and would suit an individual who is seeking a company who will fully train and develop them. COMPANY This Major Division manufactures a range of bespoke fluid handling, pumping and engineering solutions for applications in the industrial, process, manufacturing, chemical, engineering, waste, water and many other sectors. ROLE Reporting to one of the Export Sales Manager you will assist in the preparation of quotes, tenders, proposals, designs and technical documents ranging from bespoke projects to standard manufactured pumps. The successful individual will be fully trained so that they will be involved with internal projects, pump selection, problem solving and trouble shooting where necessary. There will also be quite a bit of customer, distributor and internal contact, where you will be involved with information gathering and answering questions REQUIREMENTS The successful candidate should be highly customer aware, computer literate with experience of MS Office applications, capable of interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications. Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbally and written are essential along with a sound numeric aptitude, attention to detail and a developed interest in engineering. A background in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering could also help and these will be both a demanding and rewarding positions and the successful individuals should possess the drive, determination and energy to succeed This position would ideally suit a candidate who wishes to advance with a progressive engineering manufacture, as full training will be provided. The position requires a degree of travel through the UK with overnight stays on occasions. They offer an excellent working environment, competitive salary and benefits package. The role could suit a graduate or an individual with a couple of year´s experience i.e. contract engineer, planning engineer, service co-ordinator, service engineer, chemical engineer, process engineer, mechanical engineer, plant engineer, technical engineer, proposals engineer, internal sales engineer or an engineering graduate with some engineering experience.
