Job Ref. :uker370 Quality Systems Engineer (Fabrication, Welding, Plating)   Job Location: Barnsley, Sheffield, Doncaster, Worksop, Wakefield   Qualifications: Degree in Eng   Terms: Permanent only   Salary: £32/35k Job Details Our client is a leading engineering company based in South Yorkshire, who due to workload, are looking for a Quality Systems Engineer with experience in fabrications, plating and welding. You will be a Time Served Quality Systems Engineer from a mechanical engineering background. It is essential you have “hands on“ experience in fabrications, plating and welding, and the ability to read engineering drawings. You must also be fully conversant with BSEN ISO 9000/2000 standards, and knowledge of engineering production processes. You will be confident with excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to maybe deputise in the absence of the manager. You will work as part of a small team, reporting to the QA Manager. You will be office based, responsible for running and managing the QA system, updating and ensuring the plant is complying to all quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful, well established company, employing around 180 people. This position is available immediately, on either a permanent or contract basis, depending on your requirements. Permanent salary will be c£20-23K, or on a contract basis while they recruit someone permanent, hourly rate will be around £12.00 per hour on a Paye basis, or around £15.00 per hour on a Limited Company basis. We will not provide UK work permits. Please ensure you are a UK/EU resident or have a relevant permit.
