My client is one of the UK´s largest national, family owned building services companies. They have prestigious experience in all sectors, particularly commercial, higher education, retail, transportation and local government. With a current turnover approaching £100 million this companies commitment is to improve efficiency and aggressively control costs to give customers ultimate value for money.
They have won several awards including HVAC Contractor of the Year and commitment to Service Award. Their North West office is currently looking for an experienced M & E Site Manager. The initial project you will work on will be 25 weeks on a red brick university.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the Building Services industry. You will manage the delivery of the project construction activities to meet key targets of safety, time, cost and quality. You will need to have a strong track record in leading and coordinating both mechanical / electrical project construction activities. You will also be experienced in negotiating, procuring and managing a wide range of sub-contract services.
You will preferably be a qualified engineer in Building Services with at least 10 years experience gained in this sector. A good knowledge of working practices in other functions is also desirable (civil, structural).
