Job Details
| The successful candidate will be expected to provide drive, initiative and focus on achieving the company“s objectives.
* To perform COMPLEX assembly, test, repair and/or refurbishment of Electrical/Electronic, and/or Hydraulic/Mechanical equipment within the Manufacturing department under minimal supervision.
* Train Level 3 & level 4 techicians
* Perform specialist assembly, test or repair activities
* Perform general duties within the workshop environment to assist manufacturing activities.
* To carry out any other requirements needed to allow the company to operate efficiently.
KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
* Minimum of C&G, SVQ level 3 or ONC in a relevant technical discipline
* Preferably time served with 2 years relevant experience or a minimum HNC with no relevant experience.
* Demonstrate the application of basic technical knowledge in the performance of routine technical activities and problem solving.
* Demonstrate the ability to interpret and follow printed instructions.
* Demonstrate the ability to interpret electrical or mechanical engineering drawings/circuit diagrams, G.A drawings, hydraulic flow diagrams.
* Demonstrate good written and oral communication skills.
* Demonstrate experience of providing guidance and direction to other technicians.
* Demonstrate pro-active involvement in a team environment.
* Demonstrate flexible attitude towards working patterns.
* Demonstrate and eagerness to learn new skills.
Ideal candidate will come from an Automotive Tier 1 or OEM background, CAD literate with either Technomatix RobCAD software ( Dynamo and Man ) experience.
This business operates within a very demanding industry sector. Successful candidates will be qualified to HNC level, be apprentice trained and hold a full driving licence and passport. |
