Intervention Engineer - Aberdeenshire

Job Ref. :uker16061 Intervention Engineer   Job Location: Aberdeenshire   Terms: Permanent only   Salary: Neg Package Job Details Our client is one of the worlds leading subsea engineering and construction contractors offering its global expertise, resources and technology for shallow and deepwater developments. They now have a vacancy for an Intervention Engineer for their remote technology group. Remote Technology Group Intervention Engineer MAIN DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: The position of Intervention Engineer will report directly to the RTG Manager The main duties and responsibilities will include: Working within a multi disciplined team of Engineers serving ongoing company Construction projects and bids The development of engineering applications for existing and new technologies Provide intervention techniques and ROV related construction methodology to deepwater projects globally Ensuring that work is in accordance with industry best practice Develop strategies in conjunction with RTG Intervention Engineering management Support HSEQ performance within the team and support operations on the safe use of all intervention equipment Design and develop intervention solutions to specific client needs or general requirements Work with clients for to define and specify bespoke engineering solutions Experience, Skills and Knowledge Candidates should be a Graduate within a relevant engineering discipline. However, candidates who can demonstrate extensive industry experience in place of academic qualifications will also be considered Demonstrable experience of ROV / intervention / Tooling methodology and techniques Effective communicator We will not provide UK work permits.
