As a Pulsed Power Systems Engineer, you will be working within the pulsed power group supporting the design, development and upgrades of mega-volt x-ray generators and associated experiments. You will also provide programmatic engineering support and direction to engineering projects. You will provide support in the design, development and manufacture of flash x-ray machines and be dependent on discipline, undertake design and development for electrical or mechanical systems to support the pulsed power research programme.
Qualified to HND/HNC/Degree Level in an Engineering discipline, you will have significant technical knowledge in an engineering discipline and experience in the use of computer modelling techniques to solve engineering problems. Significant experience in engineering design and in engineering construction and testing is required, as is experience in modelling and simulation. |
