Job Ref. :uker16003 Software Quality Engineer / Electronics Quality Engineer   Job Location: Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster   Terms: Contract or permanent   Salary: Circa £30,000 Job Details Software Quality Engineer - Software Quality Technician - Electronics Quality Engineer A Software Quality Engineer or Electronics Quality Engineer is required for a manufacturing company based in Sheffield to play a pivotal role within the Quality department for a position paying circa £30,000. * Manufacturing Company * Software Quality Engineer - Software Quality Technician - Electronics Quality Engineer * Permanent Position * Circa £30,000 * Commutable from Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley, Chesterfield The successful applicant will ideally have the following skills and experience: Internal and External Auditing of the development process and of software, providing technical support to the manufacturing departments supporting APQP, PPAP and FMEA and assisting with the validation of software by writing comprehensive test plans. Applicants with knowledge and experience with ISO 15504 and experience of writing software in C would be well suited to this role. Applicants who have performed the above within a manufacturing or engineering environment would be at a distinct advantage as would applicants with the Six Sigma Green or Blackbelt.
