Job Ref. :uker15754 Mechanical Design Engineer   Job Location: Reading   Qualifications: A minimum of HND   Terms: Permanent only   Salary: Attractive salary Job Details We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design the mechanical assemblies and components for our range of electro-optic instrumentation and bespoke systems. You will be responsible for product designs using 3D Models as well as detail component and assembly drawings using AutoDesk Inventor CAD package. You will be responsible for the generation and maintenance of production documentation. You will work within a small multi-disciplined design team reporting directly to the Principal Design Engineer. You will have a proven track record in mechanical design and a practical understanding of manufacturing processes. You will probably be qualified to a minimum of HND level although consideration will be given to experienced candidates with alternative qualifications.
