Job Ref. :uker15734 Design Engineer & Draughtsman   Job Location: Kirkcaldy, Knaresborough, Cumberland   Terms: Permanent only   Salary: £20 - £40 Per Hour Job Details Design Engineer / Draughtsman £20 - £40 per hour dependant on experience 6 month then rolling An opportunity for a design engineer and a draughtsman to work for a huge international company has become vaccent. The Company have offices and locations across Europe and specialise in many diverse industries. Job Title: Design Engineer / Draughtsman Location: Yorkshire, Manchester, Newcastle, Sunderland. Salary: £20 + rate is negotiable dependant on experience Reporting directly to the Director both Design Engineer and Draughtsman will work within a team of engineers and technical professionals. As the Design Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring that the design is produced to the required standards. As the Draughtsman you will transfer a number of designs from hand sketches onto the CAD station. Ideally applicants will have working experience from one of the following industries, aerospace, cranes, nuclear or subsea, however transferable skills will be taken into account. Whilst knowledge of Unigraphics software is essential for both roles, applicants with structural experience, or working knowledge with aluminium fabrications will be favoured. The company were established nearly 50 years ago, employ on average more than 100,000 in 130 different countries, and turn over billions. It is an excellent opportunity to help influence the development and performance of a large Global Organisation. The contract is for an initial 6 months however there are engineers who have been on contract for years. We will not provide UK work permits.
