Our client is now looking to recruit a Reliability and Maintainability Manager for their Bristol site. This challenging role will be to lead Reliability and Maintainability work within the Future Rapid Effect System (FRES), the Armys most important procurement programme. Reporting to the FRES Chief Engineer, the successful candidate will have a number of responsibilities. These will include the management and coordination of Reliability and Maintainability effort within a programme producing validated systems requirements, through-life plans and concepts for FRES platforms, such as Fires, Recce and Manoeuvre Support vehicles. The successful candidate will also be involved with: the management of a team of R&M engineers, providing guidance and support on strategy and implementation of R&M within the programme; producing deliverables on time and to a high standard; managing sub-contractors to successful delivery; working with stakeholders to ensure a balanced view of strategy and plans; engagement with Industry to ensure full and fair representation within the programme; production of plans that delivery the objectives of the programme and are agreed by management and stakeholders; working with other team managers in Systems Engineering and Supportability disciplines to successfully deliver the programme We will not provide UK work permits.
