This company designs, implements, integrates and manages military, public safety and civil communications assets and is one of the leading secure communications specialists in Europe so there is great opportunity for career development to those who show commitment and promise. Key responsibilities: Produce installation designs, including but not limited to engineering drawings, installation procedures, work packages, external work requirements, cabling requirements, test plans and test results. Proactively monitor, track and resolve installation related problems and issues, with respect to potential impact to delivery, schedule, cost etc. Act as the primary liaison for installation design, to the installation sub contractors. Support ongoing implementation activities in the field, with respect to passive and active network problem resolution, troubleshooting assistance, drawing and documentation issues etc as required. Responsible for making all decisions relating to site specific installation designs including ISP and OSP requirements. Formal education and training: Minimum education ONC. Experience: minimum 3 years experience. Experience of working in the Defence arena in a design and installation role is desirable. Involvement in a large scale LAN / WANs along with a proven ability to deliver Network solutions within an IP environment. Other key skills / product knowledge: A working knowledge of JSP480/440, BS EN50173/74, AMSG719 and CIDA / SCIDA rules. Worki We will not provide UK work permits.
